The UNUO Association participated as a partner in the conference organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and the SLO CRO Chamber of Commerce.
Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and the SLO CRO Chamber of Commerce, a conference entitled “Employment of Persons with Disabilities – Incentives, Practice and Solutions” was held at the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel at the initiative of Ambassador H.E. Gašper Dovžan.
The UNUO Association participated as a partner of the conference, where the CUPI’S SPOON initiative was presented as an example of good practice and an innovative model of employment of persons with disabilities, as well as a plan for its promotion in the United States of America.
Special value was given to the event by our participants in project activities co-financed by the Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, as well as our employed persons with disabilities with the support of the Croatian Employment Service (CES). In addition to them, former participants who are today successfully included in the open labor market, e.g. Atlantic Group, Adris grupa d.d., Infobip…
Such events confirm that education, practice and the labor market represent a key step towards real inclusion and sustainable employment of persons with disabilities.
