SLO CRO business club organized the presentation of Slovenian wines

 

A meeting of businessmen at Vigred was held in Zagreb, where for the first time in Croatia were presented wines, gastronomy and tourist offer of Bela Krajina, more precisely the southeast of Slovenia. The meeting organized by the SLO-CRO business club and it was also the announcement of the three-day event Vinska Vigred v Beli krajina, which takes place from 17 to 19 May in Metlika and is known as the largest wine festival in Slovenia.

The vineyards Pečarič, the wine cellar Prus, Vina Šturm and the wine cellar KZ Metlika were presented by the winemakers, while Belokranjska hiša Veselič was responsible for the gastronomic experience of Bela Krajina. As the organizers say, the Zagreb audience is presented with what they are known for, food and wine, and note that it is the venue of the festival near Zagreb and within an hour’s drive.

“It is the largest wine festival in Slovenia since 1983. It is a region known for its long tradition in wine production. Although there are only 400 hectares of vineyards in this small Slovenian region, wines are well known, and our winemakers produce wines from sparkling wines, “the organizers say.
