Marko Primorac will be dismissed on the day of the vote of confidence in the new minister, the Banske dvori reported, and the Prime Minister also proposed to the Croatian Parliament that they vote of confidence in the candidate Tomislav Ćorić for the new Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

Primorac has been the Minister of Finance since July 2022, and among his achievements are the successful issuance of government bonds and treasury bills intended for citizens, better known as national bonds and treasury bills.
Ćorić served as Minister of Labor and Pensions from 2016 to 2017, Minister of Environmental Protection and Energy from 2017 to 2020, and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development from 2020 to 2022.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has eight vice-presidents, and by agreement with Hungary and Poland, this position has gone to a Croatian official for the first time, the outgoing Minister of Finance, Marko Primorac.
