ITA CRO BUSINESS REWARD 2018.

In Zagreb’s The Westin Hotel, on September 24, was held the event named ITA CRO BUSINESS REWARD 2018.

ITA CRO BUSINESS REWARD is an initiative aimed at promoting, expanding and strengthening image and excellence of Italian entrepreneurship in Croatia.

With this award, we would like to acknowledge the Italian entrepreneurs who have emerged in the business world and have achieved significant results in Croatia, helping to promote economic relations between our two countries. A positive contribution to the years of Italian companies in Croatia with regard to foreign exports, jobs and support to the state budget in paid taxes, proves the strong industrial and commercial foundations of Italian investors in Croatia.

In addition to many members of AIIC – UTPUH, we were honoured to host the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani, also as a president of honour of the Association, who once again emphasizing the strength of economic relations between our two countries.

We were also privileged with the speech of Mr. Furio Radin, representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia and a great friend of AIIC – UTPUH, who in his speech stressed the importance of the work of the Association and its progress that has been following since the first days.

On behalf of the City of Zagreb, the speech was held by Mrs. Olivera Majic, deputy mayor.

The City of Zagreb has always been determined to create a business-friendly environment and one of the main destinations for foreign investment. In fact, Mrs. Majic invited Italian investors to develop relations with the city of Zagreb, which invests great efforts in the economic exchange between Croatia and Italy.

We want to express our deep gratitude through this, because Zagreb recognized the importance of this event and participated in co-financing the costs of the event.

The ceremonies were also accompanied by Mr. Daniele Borrelli, Advisor at the Italian Embassy, ​​Mr.. Gianluca Di Felice, Assistant to the Economy, Director of ICE Agency in Zagreb, Mrs.Lo Greco, Director of the Italian Institute of Culture, Mrs. Del Bravo, Deputy Consul, Mr. Broglia, Mrs. Jerković, Zagreb City Representative for Strategic Planning and Development, Mrs. Maja Jurić, Head of International Strategy and Export of HBOR.

The nine-member board, secretary general and secretary of the association have drafted a commission for selection of Italian entrepreneurs, who, in a last year highlighted their results and activities.

Mr. Cioni, the vice president of the Association, in his speech, emphasized: “Members are our strength and the cause of our progress. You are the one who is addressing us for the help you using our services and you are the ones whose excellent results are the reason for our pride and joy So the idea of ​​recognition and gratitude for your work naturally imposed. ”

The choice is based not only on economic indicators, but we have also taken into account other values such as innovative product / service, use of new digital technologies, steady growth and investment in Croatia, promotion of economic and commercial relations between Italy and Croatia.

The Governing Council did not have a simple task to select only three members from the current 85.

Each of the members is equally important for the development of economic relations between our two countries, from small craftsmen to large industrial and manufacturing entities, and we are especially grateful to everyone for their work and dedication.

The economic indicators of our member companies, the creation of new jobs, the use of new technologies and the provision of innovative and socially useful services, added value to which our winners highlighted.

These three companies are selected to represent all the other small or large companies that work in Croatia to create development and well-being, and we thank them for their dedication on behalf of our country, city of Zagreb and all the workers.

Thanks also to those who supported AIIC in the difficult task of promoting and developing, creating contacts and opportunities, which in the future plans to continue the growth path for the development of new services and activities for entrepreneurial and economic investments of Italian investors, and AIIC becomes a reference point for them to begin the road to new initiatives in our country.
