One of the most influential European investors in the luxury tourism and maritime industry sector, Italian magnate and billionaire Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, has been confirmed as one of the key speakers at the upcoming Adria Future Summit, which will be held from April 22 to 24 in Tivat, Porto Montenegro.
This prestigious gathering is organized for the fourth year in a row by Sustineri Partners in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and represents a new development phase of the former three-year successful ESG Adria Summit. Over the years, it has grown into a leading regional investment platform, gathering decision makers, investors and leaders from Europe and the world.
Lefebvre d’Ovidio is the chairman and owner of Heritage Group, a global investment company headquartered in Monaco. His journey to the top of the world tourism industry begins with Silversea Cruises, a luxury cruise company founded by his family in 1994. As chairman, he transformed it into one of the most recognizable brands in the ultra-luxury cruise segment, before selling the company to global leader Royal Caribbean Group in a transaction worth over a billion dollars. Today, he is the executive chairman of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, one of the oldest and most prestigious names in luxury tourism, and the owner of Crystal Cruises, whose ships recently underwent a complete renovation at the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste.
In addition to tourism, Heritage Group actively invests in renewable energy, biotechnology and digital technologies. Lefebvre d’Ovidio is the president of the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC), a member of the World Economic Forum, and holder of the Order of Saint Charles and Grimaldi, awarded by Prince Albert II of Monaco. Forbes estimates his wealth at $2.3 billion.
