TIKA donated HRK 240,000 to the Association of Blind Persons Zagreb

TIKA (Turkey Cooperation and Coordination Agency) has signed a 240,000- kunas donation contract in wich TIKA donates funds to the project “Soaps with Dots” project of the Association of Blind persons Zagreb.

 
Mr. Haşim Koç from TIKA pointed out, “Our mission is to support projects that have a vision of social entrepreneurship and employment. This project also enables the exchange of knowledge of the blind and the visually impaired, and through this project will be permanently employed by blind and visually impaired people. Thanks to the persistence of Mr. Danijel Koletić from Apriori World, this donation we have been working on for the past six months has come to fruition. “The ‘Soaps with Dots’ project is a logical sequence for TIKA, which has invested 1.1 million euros in 27 projects in the past three years, realized in Croatia, emphasizes Koç.
 
These funds will enable the Association of Blind Persons Zagreb to purchase the necessary tools and machines for the implementation of the second phase of the Social Entrepreneurship Project that the Association prepares for the production of liquid soaps. ” We want to thank TIKA. For us, this is a very important donation and we will initiate a project of exchange of knowledge and host one of the associations of blind people from Turkey to educate them through our workshops to the production methodology of souvenir soap production, “said Goran Denis Tomašković, Executive Director of the Association.
