Visegrad Group countries’ concert marking NATO membership anniversaries

On the 12nd April 2024 Embassies of the Visegrad Group countries – Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia – celebrated the anniversaries of their joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization as well as the 75th anniversary of the NATO´s founding by a unique concert of classical music, in the Hungarian Cultural Centre in Zagreb.

After the welcome speeches of Ambassadors Milan Hovorka (CZ), Csaba Demcsák (HU), Pawel Czerwiński (PL) and Hana Kováčová (SK), in the course of the concert compositions and opera arias of composers from the V4 countries – among others Antonín Dvořák, Eugen Suchoň, Frédéric Chopin and Ferenc Liszt – were performed by great opera singers Jiří Rajniš (CZ), Tatiana Hajzušová (SK) and pianist Adriana Magdovski (PL).

The concert was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia as well as the diplomatic corps in Zagreb.
