Traditionally, a reception was held in the residence of the British ambassador in Zagreb on the occasion of the birthday of King Charles III. The host, British ambassador H.E. Simon Thomas hosted a large number of officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps and guests from cultural and public life.

“With our friends and partners, we wished His Majesty King Charles III a long life and good health, but we also celebrated the strong bond between our two countries” it was officially announced on the website of the British Embassy. “This year, we were delighted to present a graffiti artwork by the famous Croatian artist Lonac, depicting iconic British symbols and legends. Crowned last May, King Charles III began a new chapter in his commitment to the United Kingdom. The British crown has always been a symbol of stability and unity of all people in Britain. Known for his commitment to sustainability, heritage preservation and encouraging post-conflict dialogue, he continues to inspire positive change around the world” said inBritish Embassy.
